Project Description:

Northern Sun Merchandising, on Lake Street in Minneapolis' Longfellow neighborhood, has been using solar energy in his business for the past decade. The company, founded by Scott Cramer in 1979, specializes in merchandise bearing socially and environmentally conscious messages.

In a recent interview with Minnesota Business Magazine, Scott said, “We’re vendors of social messages, so the decision to install solar energy at our warehouse was an attempt to practice what we preach, so to say.”

Northern Sun occupies a building that served our community as a public library for more than 70 years. We're proud to continue that tradition as our solar garden serves our community's appetite for sustainable energy.
