Have you ever thought of putting a solar panel on your home or business to capture energy from the sun and lower your energy costs? Then you may be interested in Moorhead Public Service’s (MPS’) Capture The Sun™ Community Solar Garden Project. A “community solar garden” is a collection of solar panels shared with customers who are unable to install and maintain a solar panel system of their own, such as customers with shaded roofs and those who have structures not suitable for solar panels.

Eligibility Details: 

You must be a customer of Moorhead Public Service to participate.

How to Participate: 

1) Complete and sign the Solar Interest License by specifying the number of panels (referred to as “Solar Interests”) that you would like to license from MPS. 2) Return the completed, signed Solar Interest License to MPS. 3) Pay for the License Cost with your monthly MPS bill. The total License Cost will be distributed equally on your next 12 monthly MPS bills.
