About Us: 

The utility serves electricity into approximately 41 square miles of area within and surrounding Detroit Lakes. The service area includes portions of lake shore around both Floyd and Little Floyd Lakes to the north. It entirely surrounds Big and Little Detroit Lakes, while providing partial service to lake shore on Long Lake to the west, Munson and Fox Lakes to the southwest and Abbey Lake to the south. All properties surrounding Lake Sallie and Lake Melissa are also included in this service territory.
