About Us:

Apex Efficiency Solutions, SBC; Apex Arena Solutions, SBC;and Apex Facility Solutions, SBC are Specific Benefit Corporations. Our companies were founded in 2012 as a result of our ownership team growing tired of the way Energy Service Companies delivered renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. Our new business model has changed the way our projects are developed, marketed, and delivered.

A Specific Benefit Corporation is new as of January 1, 2015 to the state of Minnesota. Being a Specific Benefit Corporation, under the public benefit corporation umbrella, means Apex pledges to pursue specific public benefits among its primary objectives. Apex is required to submit a public annual report to the Secretary of State detailing how the company met its specific benefit. Apex’s goal is to improve the environment by upgrading the energy efficiency of buildings, reducing both the carbon emissions and pollution that is released to the environment from these facilities. But the company also serves the less fortunate by helping alleviate poverty, improving educational opportunities, providing housing and addressing the exploitation of children.

Dedication to Community:
It is our goal at Apex to continuously improve the world through the implementation of fiscally-responsible and environmentally-friendly projects. Plus, we actively work to improve the community around us and abroad by dedicating a portion of each year’s profits to these causes. Half of Apex Foundation’s assets are used to help in the local community. The other half of the assets are used globally to help fight poverty and injustice. So far, Apex has sent 16 people on trips to work in Haiti, doing jobs like digging a much-needed well for a community.
