The Arrowhead Regional Development Commission (ARDC) is a regional comprehensive planning and development agency serving the counties of Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, and St. Louis in northeastern Minnesota. ARDC’s mission is to serve the people of the Arrowhead Region by providing local units of government and citizen groups a means to work cooperatively in identifying needs, solving problems, and fostering local leadership.

Dedication to Community: 
Since 2009, ARDC has worked as a regional partner as part of the REDI Program (Rural Energy Development Initiative), helping to provide energy planning assistance, outreach and education. ARDC has two revolving loan funds available through the Northland Foundation as part of the REDI Program in northeast Minnesota. One is for wind energy projects (i.e. feasibility studies) and the other is for other renewable energy initiatives.
