About Us: 

When the Lutsen Light & Power Company turned off its lights for the last time, Arrowhead Electric Cooperative, Inc., or AECI, was there to turn them back on again. That was 1953, and since that day, we’ve worked to provide you with consistently reliable, completely safe, and environmentally friendly electrical power. Arrowhead serves more than 4,000 members in Cook County and part of Lake County. This requires the cooperative to operate and maintain over 300 miles of overhead distribution line and 224 miles of underground distribution line.
